Disguised proselytizing

Question

I recently sent a text ending with a question.

Shortly afterward, I received an “invitation” by email—requiring payment,
of course—to attend a sesshin with your sangha. This is called
disguised proselytizing. When we ask a question, we do not necessarily expect
an answer, let alone that kind of answer,
especially when we are a nun.

Respectfully, gassho.

Answer from Master Kosen

An excellent answer to give a nun, don’t you think? Inviting her to practice.
Given my conviction that Zen only truly exists when practiced, how could I not encourage as many people as possible to do so? Call it whatever you like, according to your good or bad disposition, your doubt or your faith.
It is obviously the purpose of this site, and absolutely undisguised. You are the one disguised as a nun, with only the appearance of one.
