Consciousness develops in a specific part of our brain

Question

Some neuroscientists are studying how the brain reacts in people engaging in deep meditation. Apparently they detect a part of the brain that “isolates itself,” which could demonstrate that consciousness develops in a specific place in our brain and might therefore suggest, to some scientists, that consciousness is possible only through matter… On the other hand, a handful of other scientists have not yet formed a firm opinion, since the research is only beginning… I find these scientific and spiritual experiments interesting, and I congratulate these few “open-minded” scientists for trying to understand how consciousness works without preconceptions, solely to contribute to authentic research… I would like to know your opinion of this scientific and spiritual initiative…

Respectfully.
