Being unable to quit smoking

Question

For many years I have struggled with being unable to quit smoking. Now I no longer know whether the worst problem is cigarettes or the guilty way I view my own weakness. I think I can draw strength only from within myself, but I really need help, a word, a sentence that could trigger something, bring me out of my torpor and laziness, and touch my heart. Thank you in advance for taking the trouble to answer me.
Maayan.

Master Kosen’s answer

Quitting smoking is very pleasant and will let you discover extraordinary things about yourself that you had never imagined.
It takes effort, but do not focus on the loss or deprivation; focus on the happiness it will bring you. Enjoy it, take pleasure in it.
Use patches: they will help a lot with getting through withdrawal, which in my opinion is very pleasant and puts you in a completely stoned state. A patch will help you function if you have an appointment or very important work to do.
The hardest part is the habit, the gesture. Try the experiment. Long live freedom.
