Accepting karma.

Question

I could put yesterday’s question another way.
Sometimes, when people talk about accepting karma, they think of it as a possible form of
conformity. Like when Buddha died of indigestion. When you are young
and restless, dying spiritually or in the eyes of history from social or emotional
indigestion seems foolish.
Could nonconformity be a way of accepting the creative karma boiling
inside us? It would not be the first time someone had said something like that in
the West.
In my case, I was born in the Chinese Year of the Dragon, and I do not have the
temperament of people born in the Year of the Ox, for example. Sometimes I see that
we have trouble understanding one another, and it often coincides with those
birth patterns.
What would harmony be in cases where such marked opposites appear?

Answer from Master Kosen

We must accept karma as an expression of causes and effects that are not our true nature. At that moment karma disappears and Buddha smiles.
