Question
Hello,
Below is part of one of your answers about our inner Buddha: .....If you see him outside, you will die; if you see him inside, you have already been dead for a long time.
If he sees you from within, he will love you and save you; you will never be alone again.
My question concerns the last sentence: Why has mine taken a dislike to me? Why does he choose to bust my b.... and do everything he can to make my life miserable?
It is said: "Ask and you shall receive," and yet I never get ANYTHING I ask for. On the other hand, everything I don't want comes to me a hundredfold, without any trouble. To me, this is an admission of his powerlessness.
1) In that case, he is no use to me, so how can I get this good-for-nothing to leave me the hell alone?
2) If he isn't powerless, why doesn't he grant my requests, when I am certain he knows what I am asking for and why? My interests are inseparable from his, aren't they? If he keeps making me angry, he will NEVER get anything out of me. What on earth is his goal?
We aren't about to change the world with incompetents like that! Nobody has anything to gain from this stupid game.
There is a saying that it is better to be alone than in bad company. I am going to end up making that my only goal if nothing changes.
Actually, I don't even know why I am writing this to you. None of it is your fault, and you can't do anything about it, and is there even an answer to it...? Since I wrote it after yet another fit of anger, I am sending it anyway.
The only answer I have so far is that whatever serves as my "inner master" must be a demigod of anger, if there is one in the pantheon of gods. We get what we deserve, don't we?
Have a good day.

The inner Buddha has nothing to do with schizophrenia or a split personality. He is calm and silent and takes no part in your personal problems. Simply put, if you can express a new idea to him, present it to him for long enough and in a steady way, he will make it real in your surroundings.
