The temple has a new guardian

Letter from Christine, future guardian of the Caroux Temple

Why? Why become guardian of the Caroux Temple? What led me there?

My instinct, my heart, quite simply, just as in my younger years it was my heart that guided me toward singing, music, and I made it my profession… the life of an artist!

What led me to the temple is what we are made for: using all our abilities, sharing them, not keeping them for ourselves.

This Caroux Temple is the synthesis of all that, the joy of sharing: zazen, cooking, maintenance, cleaning, the garden, painting. Everything is important; it is the continuity of zazen, the purity of this magnificent place to be preserved thanks to Stephane Kosen and all the teachers who are now taking up the torch. Expressing gratitude for the transmission.

Coming to do samu at the temple, punctuated by morning and evening zazen, is a very beautiful expression of our lives.
