This sutra which closes the ceremony is chanted as a sign of gratitude to all Buddhas and Patriarchs. The Ji ho san shi is generally accompanied by sampai, three prostrations.

To all past, present and future Buddhas in the ten directions
To all bodhisattvas and patriarchs
The sutra of Great Wisdom
which allows one to go beyond.
