San Miguel de Allende dojo

The San Miguel de Allende Zen dojo meets every week to practice authentic zazen following the tradition and spirit transmitted by Master Taisen Deshimaru, in a place converted into a dojo.

The person in charge has received the ordination of Zen monk or nun, and practices the great sesshins within the Kosen sangha.

Anyone wishing to discover and practice zazen is welcome.

Zazen session schedule

On the days and times indicated below, the dojo is open for the practice of zazen. Zazen lasts about 1h30. Please arrive about ten minutes early to prepare. Beginners are advised to arrive about 20 minutes before the indicated time wearing loose and discreet clothing.

Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. / 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. / 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
