The monk Paul Doku Zan Loomans started Zen in 1980 and received monk ordination in 1984 from Etienne Mokusho Zeisler. In 1990 he followed Master Kosen to Rennes and in 1994 to Amsterdam. For years, he was responsible for the European Zen Center in Amsterdam.
Paul worked as an actor and director and is currently an author of books: “Surfing on Time” and “Living Without Stress”. He leads many workshops. He is married and has three children.
