Zen Master Soko, Pierre Leroux, met Zen in April 1986 in Rennes and has continued practicing since that date without interruption.
In 1991, Master Kosen ordained him a Zen monk at the La Gendronnière Temple, founded by Master Deshimaru. Tenzo – head of the kitchen of the Kosen Sangha Temple for 12 years, he participated from 1995 in Master Kosen’s mission in Amsterdam. He settled in Barcelona in 1999 and co-founded the Ryokan Zen Dojo of Barcelona.
In 2009, he received the transmission – shiho – from the hands of his Master Kosen at the Yujo Nyusanji Temple. He has been transmitting Zen practice since 2013 in Mexico and since 2016 in Chile; he leads meditation sessions in Europe, Chile, Mexico, and Argentina.
