I've been practicing zazen for several years, respecting the fundamental principles. However, as soon as a problem occurs or I have to face a difficult week, I feel I cannot let problems go. Some won't leave me and result in a stressed breathing in zazen. Should I first practice a breathing method to release the stress or just keep practicing zazen without racking my brain over?
Answer from Master Kosen
It's always better not to complicate one's mind.
