A very wise friend of mine tells me: "do not look for something, everything's here, there's no way to choose, you just have to live with what you are, with as most joy and simplicity as you can. All the rest amounts to hot air."
This sounds well for me, but I still feel a need for a practice, an anchor, a frame, and thus, a way.
Does one always have to pick one and stick to it if one feels it's right, or just greet Life in awareness, as simply as possible?
Answer from Master Kosen
There's no point in selecting a way, the way is everywhere, in everything, we do agree about that. However, if one wants to begin in a discipline and go further, one has to persevere and make efforts. Whether in a spiritual discipline or in a mere professional orientation, it is the same: it must be an actual vocation, and one has to concentrate on it to get a result other than superficial. Kosen
