Mahakasyapa

The first patriarch was Mahakasyapa. Once, the World-honored One held up a flower and blinked. Kâsyapa smiled. The World-honored One said, "I have the Treasury of the Eye of the True Dharma and Wondrous Mind of Nirvâna, and I transmit it to Mahakasyapa".
